Buying machinery internationally: supplier, import and delivery checklist
Compare industrial machinery by its real application, technical specification, supplier details, current price and conditions of delivery. No specific stock, discount or financial agreement is guaranteed by this guide.
Check supplier and machine specifications before buying abroad
Verify the company that sells and invoices the machine, the manufacturer/model, machine serial number where applicable, configuration, power requirements, included accessories and technical documentation. A marketplace listing is not proof of stock or a binding offer.
Compare transport terms and landed cost
Check the agreed Incoterm if used, loading, packaging, freight, insurance, destination taxes or duties, unloading, installation and commissioning. Transport permits and customs or compliance requirements depend on the machine and country.
Confirm maintenance, documentation and after-sales support
Ask about warranty obligations, parts supply, instructions in an appropriate language, local technician availability and electrical or workplace standards. Importing a machine may require additional steps that are not included in its advertised price.
Published Makitor models for different professional jobs
These are examples of new machinery listed in English for metalworking, material handling and compact excavation. None is automatically confirmed suitable or available for export to every country; obtain a written model-specific quote.
New machinery listings to compare when relevant
- Master 750.3L lathe–milling–drilling machine
- HELI CPD15-20SQ three-wheel electric forklift
- HZC Power DKB992 diesel mini excavator, 940 kg
These products are different types of machinery. Only compare a listed model against technically suitable alternatives for the same job, and confirm accessories, price, stock and freight before ordering.
Request a machinery purchase quotation
Specify the intended job, technical capacity, preferred model, site electrical requirements, accessories, budget and destination country/postcode. Ask the supplier to confirm the full delivered scope in writing.
Select a suitable model before calculating international delivery
A cross-border purchase must begin with the destination and an exact technical specification. For metalworking, verify voltage and electrical standards. For logistics equipment, check rated capacity, battery and charger configuration. For mini excavators, confirm dimensions, operating weight and attachments. Ask who is responsible for loading, freight, export or import formalities, unloading and any local servicing. Availability and transport terms require written confirmation for each machine.
Confirm the configuration, price, availability and transport charges before ordering.
